Clay Mug and Creature

I have to admit, working clay is actually really difficult. It's a lot of fun though! I was pretty successful with both my mug and creature. I absolutely hated hollowing out my creature though, I ruined it multiple times and it was very frustrating. I wouldn't change my mug, however I wish I would have done my penguins fins a little differently, they look a tad odd. Overall, I learned that clay is very difficult, frustrating, and messy, but it turns out good in the long run.

Symmetrical and Asymmetrical Paintings

My symmetrical painting is my favorite of the year, my asymmetrical not so much. I rushed through it to make sure my symmetrical turned out just the way I wanted it to. I wish I would have taken a little more time on it. On the other hand, my symmetrical took a long time to blend all the colors and make it look put together. These are my favorite paintings so far.

Color Wheel

The hardest part about this project was making the color wheel a different shape, and making it unique. I feel like this looks more like an awkward star then anything else. On the other hand, I faded the colors well, and the paints look well together. It took a long time mixing the color to get them right. This projects was one of my favorites.

2 Point Perspective City

Again, this was an easier drawing. I didn't take much time on it. I feel as though I could have did more to fill up the blank spaces, or made the buildings realistic colors. I could have also put more details into the buildings. The most difficult thing about this drawing was trying to make the buildings different from each other. I only have on that is different shape from the rest, I could change that. I learned to pay more attention to detail and to fill spaces so it doesn't look so weird.

2 point Perspective Name

I thought I did fairly decent on this piece. I drew too big so I couldn't fit my entire name on the page, so I went with my nickname. This piece was also really easy to do, and took very little time. If I were to do it over again I would try harder to fit my entire name on there, and maybe change where my name is the largest. I learned that it isn't the best thing to rush when doing my projects.

1 Point Perspective Hallway

This is one of the easier projects we have done. Just like my 1 point perspective city, every line had to go somewhere, and I like that more then free-handing. I wasn't as successful with these drawings as my others. I left out some of the details on my original hallway, and I could have been a little more creative with my redesigned hallway. Make it more my own. This was also one of the more difficult things about this project also. I have figured out that I tend to rush through the easier projects just to get them done. If I took more time, maybe then I would have a more original and creative hallway.

1 Point Perspective City

I think I should have added in more buildings, and made room for more streets and details to make it more realistic. There is a lot of open space that needs to be filled. This is one of the easier projects we have done so far because we used a ruler, and every line had a place it had to be, instead of free-handing it. I think the most difficult about all my projects is the detail you have to put into it.
